I didn't grow up thinking I'd start a children's clothing company. I grew up thinking family was everything, faith was the anchor, and every child — every single one — was made on purpose, with purpose.
Then Jaxon came into my life, and those beliefs stopped being abstract. They became something I had to do something about.
Jaxon is my grandson. He's nonverbal and on the autism spectrum, and he is one of the most expressive, joyful, deeply feeling people I have ever known. He communicates in ways the world doesn't always slow down to notice: a touch on your hand, a gaze held just a beat longer than expected the way he lights up when something he loves appears in front of him. Bubbles. Things floating in the air. His grandmother's face.
He taught me that not every truth needs words.
Raising Children Who Know They Are Loved — and That Others Are, Too
I have ten grandchildren. They are a beautiful, messy, wonderful mix — different ages, different personalities, different ways of moving through the world. Seven of them are mixed-race. Three of them face things on the school bus I wish I could fix with a hug and a phone call. I can't always be there. But I can send them out the door in something that tells them — and the world around them — exactly who they are and Whose they are.
That's where our faith-based and diversity collections come from.
I believe deeply that children should be taught values early. Love, kindness, the dignity of every human being. These aren't political ideas to me — they're the things I learned at my grandmother's knee, the things I pray my grandchildren carry with them long after I'm gone. Our faith-inspired designs are a quiet reminder: you are loved, you are enough, and you were made this way intentionally.
